Grilled Fish (Air-Fryer Recipe)

I would like to introduce you to my new kitchen helper - the Philips AirFryer. After considering for few hours, finally we brought back a unit of it, yesterday. So far, it's the most expensive appliance in my kitchen. Though, it is expensive, but I think it worths the price when comes to the healthy frying cooking. Now, I don't need to add oil to fry seafood, meat and snacks. We can savor more fried food that I don't used to cook at home.

I can't wait any longer to test its performance. My first attempt: Air-Fried Fish, or best described as Grilled Fish. Hubby and I are quite happy with how the fish tastes. It's crispy at the outside and juicy inside. I serve it with home made dips (bird's eye chili, tomato, shallots, calamansi juice, salt and sugar). VoilĂ !

Grilled Fish

Ingredients:
Small fishes (I used kembung fish)
sea salt and turmeric powder for marinades

Steps:
1. Cut and remove intestines from the fishes. Clean and pat dry.
2. Marinate the fish for 30 minutes.
3. Arrange fish in the airfryer basket. Air-fry at 180 degC for the first 5 minutes. Then, 200deg C for another 8 minutes.
4. Serve hot with your favorite chili sauce.

  9. New Kid, you don't need a single drop of oil for the air-frying. The medium is air rather than oil.

  23. Hi All,

I bought my airfryer few days ago and so far found it good. I've picked it as a case study for my product-design course, and I'll appreciate if you some of you can spend few mins sharing your experiences so far with the Airfryer--less than 2 for sure. Your few answers will be of immense help to me (plus its a good karma). The questions are at- http://abhinavjain.polldaddy.com/s/airfryer

    Thank you all,
    Best,

  25. How do you make sure the fish does not stick on the air fryer's net? I tried but the the fish is sort of stick to the net and it did not turn out to be like yours! Aporeciate advices. Tq.

  26. Anonymous, the bottom of the fish stick too, but u can reduce it by applying some cooking oil to the net or layer it with aluminum foil.

  30. I love that it can fry food without grease and the extra calories and fat that come with using a regular fryer.
Cooking food through an air fryer is often a healthy option to deep-frying applying gas.
Hot air fryers make use of excited air rather than very hot gas to help make meals meals.
A trendy label of this heat stove that makes use of this preparing container may be the Philips.
